Setting the camera on pause, Suzanne posed to capture the pose she couldn’t quite capture on the pad. Her drawings had lost the essence of creativity, being swayed by the emotional turmoil caused by Vance. Depressed, she realized, she never should’ve loved her promoter, but he tricked her into believing he couldn’t live without her, committed to make her the happiest, well-known painter in the country, promising to love her, always. She believed his every word and painted with passion, falling in love again until he vanished, last month, with the money from the paintings sold at her opening show.
