I woke in the middle of the night under the moonlight and stars, the campfire still ablaze, but Jamison’s sleeping bag was empty. I whispered his name, only an owl hooted back. Although it was still very warm for late March, I dressed in all my clothes, unaware how far I would have to venture to find Jamison. I wasn’t afraid to walk around in the forest, even though I was only sixteen. Jamison had taught me to fear nothing during the solstice celebration, especially my color, purple, inherent in my soul for mystery and my lifestyle, yet to be realized, soon.
When I came to a heavily wooded dark area I stood still, awestruck by the vision before me where the bright rays of moonlight pried through the foliage, illuminating the silhouettes of the fir trees and the backside of Jamison’s large, magnificent naked body.
Cocking his head to his right, he must have heard the crackling snap of the branch I stepped on.
“Scotty, go back to our camp.” Jamison panted as he grunted his plea.
“What are you doing?”
“Go back, now. Chant your chakras. Your spectrum is not fully developed. You must wait for your realization.”
