George began to cry.
“It’s alright, baby brother. Let it out. You can trust me.”
George lifted his weary head. “It all started when I was writing a play.” George raised his weary head. “I left him alone. I thought that would be good for him. When I came home from my office, I found these young things in our apartment undressing.”
“You mean young men, I hope.”
“Yes, Peter must have picked them up in a bar or a park, promising to pay them to listen to his acting triumphs. Money was dwindling fast. I found one lying in our bed naked.”
“Oh, my lord.” Eleanor shut her eyes, not wanting to hear anymore details.
“The others, partially dressed and drinking beer, were watching videos.” George continued. “I won’t tell you what kind. I intervened. I had to make excuses. When I paid them what Peter promised, they left. Fortunately, that time, they all were understanding and apologized. There were no further incidents for months.”
